We greatly enjoyed staying 2 nights here. By and large, it was nice and just fabulous place with amazing stuff in the hotel the housekeepers. Generally everything was well-maintained, even so the bathroom was very dated.

The property was impeccably clean with genuinely professional and well-trained staff. The room was tastefully decorated, a nice size with a four poster bed, a lovely clean plus a big three part window looking over Bruntsfield Links, I was pleased.
The staff - some of them were arrogant.

The rooms were unique, yet the one I got had ugly views. At the restaurant, the breakfast was top class with various options available. The location in a vibrant area was marvellous and fab and there were cheap shops and interesting independent shops nearby. A few times I ate at Tai Pan, located relatively near the hotel. The property was situated 200 metres from the bus stop.
Their staff were exceptionally rude.

Loved how very good standard and newly renovated the property was. The room was good value for money and well-equipped with breakfast included, I was happy about that. It had things I needed, including a complimentary tray, coffee, and a safe box. The location was relatively quiet and absolutely wonderful - close to restaurants and bars. Besides, I was close to a garden and a green area.

The location was amazing - near bus stops for several regular routes into Edinburgh central, a main artery in-and-out of town, and the lovely Honeycomb coffee shop. There was dessert restaurant Artisan Cheesecakes, that I found within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel. The rooms were airy and unique with a view of the park.

Everything was nice, we felt safe. Had double superior room complete with a settee, the dreaded trouser press, as example. It had a family atmosphere and provided friendly service. The breakfast was savoury and delicious and had plenty of options. The location was magnificent and prime, for example, Usher Hall was just a short walk away from the hotel. Set close to a garden and a park, it was a plus.
